Meet Jonathan & Ashley House

Our journey has been a beautiful testament to God’s presence in every area of life. Whether we are in a counseling office, a financial firm, or on a mission trip, we believe the Holy Spirit wants to be involved. We met in 2011, the same month Jonathan became a licensed financial advisor. From that first night, we discovered a shared dream to use our professional careers to one day fund a summer camp for youth. About 7 years later, this idea birthed into our first Summer Bash.

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling. Her clinical training and biblical formation work together in a unique way. This allows her to bring deep wisdom and care to those who are walking through trauma or seeking freedom from spiritual affliction.

Jonathan holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and is currently pursuing his seminary degree. He is the founder of Shekinah Financial, a firm practicing 100 percent biblically responsible investing. For Jonathan, the Gospel is at the center of everything. Whether he is advising a client or praying for someone having a hard day, his goal is to see the manifest presence of God in the marketplace.

From Youth Leadership to Church Planting Our ministry roots started in 2015 when we stepped into youth leadership at a church in Athens and eventually led a group that grew from 12 students to over 60 in just one year. It was during our 2021 Summer Bash that everything changed because of God encountering our group with revival. We watched students encounter God through salvations, healings, and deliverance in ways we had never seen before. We had no roadmap, so we sought training through Randy Clarke’s Global Awakening Conferences and became certified in Timothy Lane’s God Therapy  to learn how to properly steward what God was doing and has continued to do.

The Lexington Chapter

In 2023, following clear prophetic direction and the miraculous gift of a free building in Lexington, GA, Jonathan became the pastor of a church plant, we later name The Cove. Over the course of three years, we pastored a wonderful community and watched God refine our understanding of worship, family, and the supernatural.

The Pivot to the Cove Ministries

In March 2026, the Lord called us back to where it all started in Bishop. This move marks a transition from a local church model to a focused training and equipping center. Cove Church has become Cove Ministries. We are a training hub designed to heal, equip, and launch believers into their own callings & giftings.

What We Do:

Training without practice is just information. At Cove, we want to give you the practice you need to walk in the Spirit with total confidence.

Phase One: The Training (6-8 weeks)

Before every mission trip, we gather on Friday nights for intensive activation services. Topics include:

  • Foundations of Christianity and leading others to the Lord

  • Deliverance and inner healing

  • Prophecy and hearing God’s voice

  • Praying for the sick and expecting results

Phase Two: The Trip

Every training period ends with a mission. You will learn how to apply biblical principles in real world environments where they are needed most.

  • Ecuador: Partnering with local pastors for nightly service and street evangelism/ministry. Our next trip is planned for October 2026. Youth trip will be planned post Christmas 2026.

  • Summer Bash Statesboro: Our flagship summer camp for youth in the United States.

  • Soul Care Groups: continue discipleship and growth, while also healing and working on your identity in Christ.

Phase 3: LAUNCH into Ministry

We are not here to gain church members. We function like an internship. Our success is measured by you returning to your home church, your workplace, and your family ready to be a light for the Kingdom.
